Housed in a picturesque 15th century building with exposed beams and other period features, you will find an extensive magical selection of dolls houses and accessories, collectable bears, dolls and gifts. We also offer Dolls Hospital facilities for antique doll restoration.
The Suffolk Doll Company is situated in the ancient market town of Hadleigh, Suffolk, with its fine historic buildings and free car parking. The area is steeped in history with Ipswich, the County town of Suffolk, and Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England, close by. The renowned villages of Lavenham, Kersey, 'Constables' Dedham and Flatford are all just a short journey away.
On entering the shop, (disabled access is not a problem), you will be greeted with a friendly smile, and left to browse our large displays. Our staff are always on hand to offer information or assistance if required. Our company aim is to supply high quality products at amazingly low prices, which we do by very careful sourcing of stock and keeping all of our overheads as low as possible.
Dolls Houses
Dolls Houses provide an ever popular pastime for all ages and our range of over 20 houses and shops couple precision manufacture and low prices. The houses come in various sizes and designs; from simple, robust models for children to the finest period style house. Prices range from £32.50 upwards for kit form houses. We complement our houses with a large range of wallpapers, doors, windows, skirtings and other wood mouldings, lighting and high quality furniture. In fact, virtually everything you could need to complete your house; even down to a conservatory. For smaller children we have a more durable range of wooden furniture and people.
Bears
We specialise in the world renowned Steiff products. Better known for their valuable range of collectable and Limited Edition bears, we offer the complete and immense Steiff product range to order, (subject to availability), if we haven't got it, and this includes virtually every other species of animal produced by Steiff. We also stock their very popular range of special baby gifts; perfect for that new arrival in your life. This includes, 'My First Steiff' bears, musical crib toys, rattles etc. We also hold a large stock of other bears and bear related products by Cotswold, Bartons Creek, Russ Berrie, Gund, Ty, Cherished Teddies and not forgetting the Cliff Richard bears, all with the well known singers signature on their foot!
Dolls
We stock an ever changing array of dolls from porcelain dolls, musical dolls, rag dolls, dolls in the form of lamps, dolls house dolls and an impressive collection of hand made and painted Russian Dolls. Many of these are signed by the artist. We even have Russian Doll money boxes.
